**ATL Craft has closed its brick-and-mortar shop. However, Witch Mama still has gatherings and other resources at the urL above.**
I had some preconceived notions about ATL Craft after visiting the website, and I’m more than happy to admit that I was WAY off base. This shop is a gem. The inside is spacious, the displays are so well done, and “Witch Mama” is just as cute and friendly as can be. What I appreciate the most is that the emphasis here is on local craftsmanship on many items such as the wooden block tea candle holders, and prints from Atlanta artist Jonesy. Some spell kits and herbs come from New Orleans, such as NOLA Esoteric, and ATL Craft shares its space with Church Murch. What I liked the most were the protection spell bottles made right there in the shop, with an area set up where you can make one for yourself with the help of Witch Mama. I have yet to see a shop doing anything like this, so ATL Craft gets bonus points from me for that. What really knocked me out, though, was the alter in the back of the shop. This was much like ones I had seen in New Orleans, where you can leave an offering if you so choose. There is always something on the calendar at the shop, with many classes on tarot, circle casting, spells, etc. Best of all, ATL Craft prides itself on being all-inclusive.
